Aggreko prevents power shortages in Zimbabwe with 200 MW mobile power plant

Zimbabwe experienced crippling power cuts as a result of inadequate infrastructure. Power generation at the Kariba power station was also falling, so the government issued a contract to Sakunda Holdings to set up a 200 MW emergency diesel power station at Dema substation to supply electricity to prevent a ‘critical power shortage’.
